Conversations Beyond God

Event with invited public, Experimental Spaces,

Hastings Museum and Art Gallery, 2002.

The artist dressed up as Nietzsche in conversation with philosopher Sean Sayers. The subject of their conversation was a world beyond god.

The event was attended by about 40 members of the public who participated in the discussion. Ideas included: the place of religion in contemporary society, what constitutes ‘community’, poetry and philosophy as bedfellows, and whether or not it is possible to philosophize without copious amounts of facial hair.
